Meet Tour Guide Ken

 Ken is a retired member of An Garda Siochana, with over 30 years service. During his time as a Gard, Ken met many people from all over the world, and took pleasure in providing hints and tips on where to visit during their stay in Ireland. He struck up lifelong  friendships with many of these people, showing them around the City of Dublin and the rest or Ireland and it is was on these trips that Tour Guide Ken was born.

 

 Since his retirement from duty in 2011, he has become a Full time Grandad and has worked as a Guide for Dublin City Sightseeing (The Red Bus) and most recently a Dedicated Guide for The 1916 Freedom Tour, touring Dublin City in a military style truck,dressed in period uniform.

In the run up to the Commemorations this year, Ken has featured on RTE's Don't Tell The Bride and Nationwide and TV3's Saturday AM.
